Dye-based ink produces vibrant colours and photo-quality shades and tones. However, dye-based ink is not UV-stable and may fade over time in natural light or near strong UV sources. It may also fade when exposed to certain airborne contaminants such as strong vapours or solvents.

Dye-based ink has only a small degree of water resistancy meaning labels printed using dye-based ink are likely to bleed or run if exposed to water or other fluids including condensation caused by refrigeration processes.

We recommend testing the performance of labels printed using dye-based ink with your specific application before purchasing ink or labels in large quantities or applying many labels to your products. KTEC take no responsibility for any label fading or ink bleeding issues you may experience as a result of using this ink cartridge.

The ink in this cartridge is compatible with most types of inkjet label media including gloss, semi-gloss and matt stocks both in paper and synthetic form. The ink in this cartridge is not compatible with thermal transfer label media or any media which does not have an inkjettable top-coat.

This ink cartridge is supplied with a limited warranty. The warranty covers failure or damage discovered at the time of purchase or immediately following installation in a printer. However, cartridges that develop faults following a period of use, no matter how short, are no longer covered by warranty and will not be replaced. Cartridges that are damaged as a result of label media jams or due to the user carrying out printhead cleaning processes by hand will not be replaced under warranty.
